My four years at Thomas Aquinas ¹û¶³´«Ã½ served as a great preparation for a career in journalism and public affairs.

I thank God for giving me the life-changing experience of being a student at Thomas Aquinas ¹û¶³´«Ã½.

My time at the ¹û¶³´«Ã½ helped me begin to acquire the virtues necessary in becoming a disciple before learning to be a leader. I am very grateful to the ¹û¶³´«Ã½ for giving me the environment in which I was able to grow in those virtues.

Programming is really just applied math and logic, and the ¹û¶³´«Ã½ prepared me well in both.

I always tell people, if you can read Aristotle, you can read an insurance policy. Every time I’m asked to parse a sentence in a policy or debate the meaning of the word ‘occurrence,’ I feel like I’m back in college.

In college I had the most admirable tutors and other influences in my life — people who were so good, and whom you could really admire.

I rely on the ¹û¶³´«Ã½â€™s training each and every day. Foremost is the ability to quickly analyze and methodically resolve complex matters; then, to prioritize sound facts and morals in my decision making.

There was a sense of discipline in the intellectual life at Thomas Aquinas ¹û¶³´«Ã½ which I think very much carries over into the military, which has discipline permeating throughout the entire structure.

Thomas Aquinas ¹û¶³´«Ã½ gives you the ability to quickly analyze, break down a particular issue into its parts, put it all back together in a way that makes sense, reach a conclusion, and then go forward.

My years at TAC prepared me for nursing in ways I never planned or foresaw. I left with a clearer, more analytical mind; I am able to reason better and, above all, empathize better.
