California
After raucously celebrating the conclusion of their studies by jumping in the pool and boasting of their accomplishments, the seniors in California settled down on Wednesday evening for a more refined celebration: the President鈥檚 Dinner.
On Wednesday, as members of the California Senior Class completed their last final examination, they greeted one another with hugs and congratulations on the academic quadrangle. After all had arrived they then took part in a celebratory swim at the Pope St. John Paul II Athletic Center!

After the sophomores and juniors honored the Class of 2023, the faculty, likewise, took its turn wishing the soon-to-be-graduates well 鈥 with a little friendly competition! Wednesday witnessed their faceoff at the annual Senior-Tutor Softball game, which concluded with the traditional Senior Thesis Draft Burning Party.
With thesis defenses behind them, the Class of 2023 came together to host the last dance of the semester, the Chez Martin: a fundraiser for the senior gift, a final hurrah, and a fun night for all.
Every class of students at Thomas Aquinas 果冻传媒 is divided into 鈥渟ections,鈥 groups of 17 to 18 students who take their weekday classes together. Actively working their way through the Great Books by way of the Discussion Method, section mates grow in together in wisdom and friendship. This past weekend, however, the five sections of California鈥檚 Junior Class met to grow in friendship in more rambunctious fashion: the 鈥淪ection Games.鈥
While their counterparts in New England were wandering a magical forest last Friday night, the students of Thomas Aquinas 果冻传媒, California, were courting by the seaside in a remarkable production of Gilbert & Sullivan鈥檚 HMS Pinafore.
The 2023 High School Summer Great Books Programs are less than three months away, and Thomas Aquinas 果冻传媒 is pleased to introduce the leaders who will spearhead this year鈥檚 team of prefects in California. (We will be announcing New England鈥檚 head prefects next week!)
