A website dedicated to college life, CampusGrotto.com, has ranked Thomas Aquinas ý among the , “based on students’ rating of dorm comfort.” The ranking comes after the Princeton Review listed the ý as having “dorms like palaces” in its 2009 guide.

The honor garners a chuckle from the ý’s vice president for finance and administration, Peter L. DeLuca. “We certainly never set out to build ‘palatial’ residence halls, but we have always had student comfort in mind, as well as beauty, which predisposes us to what is true and good,” he says.

Perhaps more notable than aesthetic accolades, however, is that of the 20 colleges and universities to make the “Top Dorms” list, Thomas Aquinas ý has the lowest tuition rate, the lowest room-and-board fees, and the lowest total costs for students and their families. “We are committed to keeping the campus beautiful,” explains Director of Admissions Jon Daly, “but we are also committed to keeping our education affordable,” noting that numerous college guides have also praised the ý for its generous financial-aid program.
