John S. Schmitt, a former tutor at Thomas Aquinas ¹û¶³´«Ã½, on August 22, 2012, the Feast of the Queenship of Mary. Mr. Schmitt taught at the ¹û¶³´«Ã½ from 1974 to 1979, after which he founded the Trivium School, a residential high school offering a classical curriculum in Lancaster, Mass. Many Trivium graduates have gone on to attend the ¹û¶³´«Ã½, just as many of the ¹û¶³´«Ã½â€™s alumni have gone on to teach at Trivium. Mr. Schmitt and his wife, Louise, are also the parents of seven Thomas Aquinas ¹û¶³´«Ã½ alumni: Julia (Six ’81), Nicholas (’82), Sr. Mary Juliana, O.Cist. (’86), Stephanie (Langley ’89), Carl (’90), Samuel (’92), and Clare (Metilly ’94).
